Daddy got the kids dressed for church that morning and without even realizing it he coordinated them very well!
We had a great day celebrating our Father’s! We went to church, then rested a little bit in the afternoon (Mike’s favorite part of the day), and then headed to Grandpa & Grandma’s house for dinner and dessert!
Well if you haven’t heard, Mike broke his arm. He was up 8 foot on a ladder when it kicked out on him and he came crashing down with it. We are SO thankful that it was just his arm that was hurt. It could have been much, much worse! The Lord truly protected him!
He broke it right at the elbow and had to have surgery last Thursday. He was a little nervous about it so after they got the IV in they gave him a little somethin’ to ease the nerves. It put him right to sleep! Go figure, he can sleep ANYWHERE!
I waited and waited for the surgery to start, and finally (after a 2 hour delay) he was in the operating room. The doctor found more damage than what the x-ray showed so it took him a little bit longer. When Mike woke up he was in a lot of pain. Here he is after the surgery, this was the only smile I got that evening.
He is doing much better now, he went back to work yesterday and is doing what he can with one arm.

It’s the BIG 30!! Even if your in denial and want to stay 29 for one more year. :) You have accomplished a lot in your 20’s and I can’t wait to see what happens in the 30’s!

Today we are getting the house ready for Thanksgiving. My Mother, Meagan, and Sue Ann are coming to visit us next week so we want the house looking nice. We are raking the leaves today.
Well...Mike is raking leaves.
And Tyler is playing in them.
And I'm having fun with my camera....guess I'll stop and start cleaning now!
As always, we had the bubbles out! Tyler likes it when Daddy blows the bubbles!
Tyler was in a mood to be like Daddy (when is he not?) that day.
He had to have his hands just like Daddy's, and when Mike decided to lay down on the grass Tyler of course had to follow. His feet had to be up on the brick exactly like Dad had his.
Too cute! I love my boys!
But of course a girl would be just fine too! :) I wouldn't mind some more pink in my pictures!
