New House!!

Well we are finally back online and I can post some pictures of our new house!

It still feels weird that we are actually homeowners but so far we are enjoying it! There are still boxes everywhere and we are unpacking as we go, but it is coming along great. If I post all the pictures I have taken since we moved in it would take up so much space so I will just post a few here and there. And yes I will be good and start posting more often!
So here are some from the move in day. We had 6 trucks and one trailer filled up with all our stuff. It took us a couple trips, but we were done by 12:30. My dad and a lot of the guys from Mike's bible study came to help.
Later that day we even had Tyler moving boxes!!!

Looks like a really nice place you got there!!! I love the wood floors in what looks to be Tyler's room...I told Ryan I wish we had all wood floors...would be easier to clean up esp when the kido's are sick...and miss the toliet...Did you guy's have to do any painting? Looks like fresh paint on the walls...I'm anxious to start painting with some bolder colors for this house...every room is the same cream/off white color and it's getting old looking at it that way...One of these days...I am working on refinishing an old dresser/cupboard thingy I got at a yard sale for $15.oo...and when i'm done with it it's gonna look like a peice of fruniture you would see from potterybarn or something weathered worn like that...It's turning out really nice...:) I'm really happy with it so far...Tomorrow I have to put the second coat of sealer on it and then i'll be all done with that. I also did a little end table that we had with the same color and technique on it and it looks so different...looks like I paid way more for it now...:) I'm also doing the same technique to a long wooden country shelf that I bought at a yard sale for only .50cents...and I painted it a light sage green color sanded it down in areas to look worn, then rubed dark stain over the entire serface and rubed off excess stain...then after it drys I will just have to seal it...It's a really cool technique if you like that weathered worn look...makes it look really neat...and like you spent a lot of money on it...but really I didn't...I have a few other peices of wooden things in the house i'd like to do that too also...Well I need to get off of here and hit the sac...tired tonight...Kyler had his first football game tonight away at dansville and the got cremated...19-0 Hopefully it gets better!!! it was to be in the low 70's here but it ended up being in the high 80's and lots of sun...I got toasted!!! Lucky for Carson he was under his visor in the stroller...so he wasn't affected...Miss you guy's and glad all the moving went well and your happy and getting settled...

Looks really nice Bri and Mike. Like the brick on it, don't see many tri levels here that are brick. Meg just got home from Al. and said she loved your place.
(Jenn- you teach me your new staining process and I will teach you scrapbooking)

The house looks great! I love all the moving day pictures. Let me know when you need a free afternoon and I will be happy to watch Tyler for you. I am not that great a decorator but if you need help with anything just let me know. Can't wait to see it in person. Take Care!
